Conflict minerals refer to cobalt (Co), tin (Sn), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), and gold (Au) originating from mining areas in the Democratic Republic of Congo or neighboring countries that are conflict-affected. These conflict areas are controlled by non-governmental armed groups engaged in illegal mining and human rights abuses.
Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, a financial reform bill enacted by the United States, regulates the source of conflict minerals in products.
We, Shanghai King-Nd Magnet Co., Ltd., hereby declare that the cobalt (Co), tin (Sn), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), and gold (Au) contained in our manufactured products do not originate from armed groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo or its surrounding countries/regions that violate human rights. We also similarly require our suppliers to comply with provisions prohibiting the use of "conflict minerals."
