Celebration on the strategic cooperation agreement signed between Shanghai King-ND Magnet and China Jiliang University!

On the morning of January 15, 2013, Shanghai King-Nd Magnet Co., Ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Jiliang University. China Jiliang University (CJLU) is an undergraduate institution in China specializing in quality supervision, inspection, and quarantine. It is a key university in Zhejiang Province with distinct characteristics in metrology, standards, quality inspection, and quarantine. It has the authority to grant master's degrees, admit international students and students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, and qualify individuals with equivalent academic backgrounds to apply for master's degrees.


Professor Zhuang Songlin, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, serves as Honorary President, and Professor Lin Jianzhong, a special expert of Zhejiang Province, serves as President. The university possesses 1 top-priority discipline in Zhejiang Province, 1 key humanities and social sciences research base in Zhejiang Province, 6 key disciplines in Zhejiang Province, 7 first-level master's degree programs, 25 second-level master's degree programs, and 3 authorized fields for Master of Engineering.


  In the past five years, the university has led and undertaken over 500 national and provincial-level projects, including those from the National 973 Program, 863 Program, National Science and Technology Major Project, Major International Science and Technology Cooperation Project of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation. It has received over 40 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological achievement awards, including the First Prize of the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Award. The signing of this cooperation agreement signifies that both parties will engage in close collaboration on the research and development of new material formulations, improvement of production processes, talent cultivation, and application for national research projects. This collaboration aims to contribute to the development of rare earth permanent magnet materials in China.
